You Can Now Get a Custom Domain On Medium
A step-by-step guide to get a custom domain on Medium.
Hello writers and hustlers.
This is Aamir Kamal from Medium.
Recently Medium introduced this new feature to let Medium members get a custom domain on Medium. A custom domain is a pre-text like Medium.com. You can now be using the Medium environment and start a blog for free.
It would cost you a yearly fee of buying a domain from any services like Goddady and just paying $5 a month to Medium being a Medium member. I am already a Medium member and so do you be. It will just cost you $10/Year.
Blogging is changing. Now, Hosting companies like Bluehost and others will lose the majority of their audience. The website hosting business is a competitive business where companies pay $50 to $100 per sign-up. As Medium is providing it for free, it could change the way we look into blogging.
I have written an in-depth guide about attaching a custom domain with Medium in the link given below.
I hope this helps.
A friend link is a link given by Medium to writers to let everyone read their stories even if they aren’t Medium members.
