What is a Blogroll?
The blogroll on Medium is an Interesting feature. When someone is reading your article and you have Blogroll turn on, the reader can view the profile of the people you are following. These recommendations don’t just include Medium creators but also Medium publications.
Now, how can you turn on the Blogroll feature? Follow the following systematic guide;
Go to Medium.com, click on your profile picture. A drop-down menu will appear.
In the drop-down menu, click on “Design your profile”
When the page opens, it has the option of Blogroll.
Check the Blogroll option.
Boom!, now Medium will display your recent following (publications and creators) to those who read your stories.
You can remove the Blogroll feature by just unchecking and saving this option. The blogroll will disappear.
Should You add a Blogroll to your Medium stories?
That’s up to you. You can choose to add a Blogroll or not. In my opinion, it doesn’t impact your story or your profile in general. If you want to showcase your favorite Medium creators who you are following, adding a Blogroll could be an interesting feature.
