A very detailed review of Vocal Media. Is the site is legit to make money?

Vocal dot Media is a site run and owned by Jerrick Media. Jerrick Media is a public limited company. I first heard of Vocal on Quora and then I first check out the site. I joined Vocal Media over a year ago but it has been 8 months that I am consistent being publishing content on Vocal.

While searching for the possible answers to find that is Vocal Media a legit site? or are this there any success stories available where people who write on this platform make big money, I got into this Reddit thread about Vocal Media. This Reddit thread is everything wrong with the Internet. None of the commentators use Vocal Media and almost all of them are unhappy or pessimistic about writing on Vocal, they even called it a scam.

I am a writer on Vocal Media for the past year and not leaving the platform any time soon. This is the reason why I am writing this article to ensure that more people read about this platform and start writing on it instead of going to a thread that is making claims which aren't true.

How Vocal Media Makes Money?

Vocal makes money by getting Vocal+ subscribers which cost $9.99 a month. It is highly recommended if you want to enter challenges or you want to make more money through reads CPM. You can Join Vocal+ here. So, not everybody going to win a challenge and this is where they make money from those subscribers. Also, they have an agency for marketing brands on the Vocal platform which is another source of revenue for the Vocal company. This is how they make money.

How do writers on Vocal Media make money?

Writers on Vocal make money through three primary ways;

1. Through Vocal challenges: There is a range of Vocal challenges and you can submit your entries to those challenges. The top 3 stories for a challenge is considered a winner and they receive a hefty amount of money ranging from $500 to $20,000 per winner.

2. Through Getting reads on your Vocal published stories: This is where I make the most of the money. When you publish an article on Vocal, you have the ability to share it on social media or if it is search optimized and it gets ranked on Google or other search engines, you make money through the incoming traffic. Most of my articles are ranked on Google and doing pretty well.

3. Through Tips, Bonuses, and through affiliate marketing: When someone is reading your story, they can also leave a tip for you. Bonuses are tips coming directly from Vocal companies, they pay you bonuses when you reach a specific milestone like having 10,000 reads on your story or publishing your 10th article. Affiliate marketing is more general and you can make money affiliate marketing by writing about a certain topic and embed your special affiliate link inside your Vocal article.

How much money I have made writing on Vocal?

I have made over $4,500 writing on Vocal Media in a few months. I have never submitted an entry to Vocal challenges and solely focus on writing on Vocal and publishing more articles. To date, I have published over 360+ articles and intended to publish even more.

Is Vocal a legit company?

I have received over 11 payments through Stripe from Vocal and almost every cent I have made on Vocal, I have been received in my bank account. When you create an account on Vocal, they ask you to connect your Stripe account in order to get paid.

Stripe is a multi-billion dollar company that specialized in financial transactions and management for small to medium-sized enterprises.

When you connect your Stripe account with Vocal, now you are eligible to get paid. There is a minimum balance you need to make before Vocal pays you. For a Vocal+ member, it is $20. When you make $20 from reads on Vocal you can request to payout which will be approved in a few days and the amount will be added to your bank account through Stripe.
